Privacy Policy
How LexInvoice collects, uses and protects your data.
Effective date: August 2, 2026
1. Introduction
LexInvoice ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our invoicing platform, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly — your name, email address, company details, and the client/invoice data you enter — as well as limited technical data (browser type, IP address, device information) to operate and secure the service.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to provide the invoicing service you subscribed to, process payments, send transactional emails (invoices, reminders, receipts), secure your account, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Payment Data
Payments are processed by third-party providers (such as Stripe, PayPal or Flutterwave). We do not store your full card details on our servers — they are handled directly by these certified payment processors.
5. Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and analytics cookies to understand how the platform is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
6. How We Share Information
We share data only with service providers who help us operate LexInvoice (hosting, email delivery, payment processing), strictly to the extent needed for them to perform their function, and only if required by law.
7. Data Security
We apply industry-standard technical and organizational measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and regular backups — to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration or loss.
8. Data Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active, or as required to comply with legal and accounting obligations (in particular invoice retention rules). You may request deletion of your account data at any time, subject to these legal obligations.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us from within the application or via support.
10. International Transfers
Our infrastructure and service providers may be located in different countries. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for cross-border data transfers.
11. Children's Privacy
LexInvoice is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
